I want to set some new PRs this year.

Personal:

I started running in 2001.  My first 5K was the Salt Lake Classic that year.  I ran it in just under 33 minutes.  I was excited that I could run the whole distance.  My dad and I joked around about doing a marathon, but then we decided, "Why joke about it when we could actually do one?"  We trained for the Top of Utah marathon the next year and ran it in 5:38.  It was such a great feeling of accomplishment!

It's been fun to see how I've improved over the years. It's been such a blessing in my life to have met so many other running friends and to train under such a dedicated and selfless Coach (Bill Schmid).  I hope to keep improving and thriving in the great sport of running!

I ran the Centerville 5k fun run with Tracy1, Hildisvini, and my friend Cami.  It was great to run back in my hometown and see people I haven't seen in years.  Afterwards, we had pancakes and eggs in the park!  Now I am at work.......hospitals don't close on holidays!

Hey Christina nice to see you again, and at least you get the time and a half.

Josse--yeah, it was great to meet you! I'm sorry you didn't have a good race. I got stuck behind people with strollers! It's frustrating when you're trying to get a good time.

Laurie--glad to see the Pope's are still out and about! I loved seeing the little Loren batman--did you get anymore prizes?

Yeah, I got a pair of running socks, seems nice, and a free car wash, and the kids got coupons for free meals at Chili's. They love chili's!!! (A sign that they have watched too much tv) It was very nice of you to run with your fried, I love having that support, and I got stuck behind strollers too............
